In 1998 Zack Exley founded a website called GWBush.com which poked fun at then-presidential front-runner George W Bush. The first incarnation of the site sported a satirical press release from the Bush campaign that announced a plan to pardon one million drug prisoners, so long as they promised they'd "learned from their mistakes." Many journalists mistook GWBush.com for the official GeorgeWBush.com and called campaign headquarters to enquire about this bold new policy proposal called "Amnesty 2000." The Bush camp countered by trying to shut down Exley's website, with George W Bush at one point publicly calling Exley "a garbage man" and exclaiming, "yes, there ought to be limits to freedom." Exley has since retired from politics and now lives in a shack in Wyoming with his three German Shepards. He is working on a manifesto to be released in early 2009. The historic GWBush.com sticker line is now available exclusively here at StickerGiant.com.
